Sometimes it’s love at first sight. Sitting feet away, you are captivated by the gem’s color, cut and brilliance, and you just know the two of you were meant to be together. Other times it’s more difficult to find the right one. Maybe you’re looking for a particular gemstone or color or shape. Some gems sparkle against your skin tone while others seem to fade. And the color of silver, gold or platinum surrounding the gem can make its color appear warmer or cooler.
