We’re proud to offer the services of Alison Neumann to prepare your appraisal. With more than ten years of extensive experience as a Graduate Gemologist, Certified Gemologist Appraiser, auction specialist, and a member of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers, she comes to Hursts’ Berwyn Jewelers each month to prepare appraisals. We invite you to make an appointment to meet with Alison in person, so she can give you a more detailed look at your piece and answer any questions you may have. The added benefit to an appointment is a two-day turnaround time for your appraisal.
Alternatively, if it is more convenient, you can leave your piece at any time to be appraised. Allow two weeks for an appraisal to be completed when you drop off your piece.
The fee for an appraisal is $100, and updates to our original appraisal are available at a reduced fee of $50. After the initial appraisal, you should plan on updating it at least every three to four years. However, we encourage you to check with your insurance company for its specific policies.
