Terms and Conditions
  1. To be eligible to enter a story, you must be 18 years of age or older and must be a legal resident of the U.S.A.
  2. The online submission form must be filled out completely and accurately.
  3. Entry is limited to one story per person. Multiple stories will lead to a removal of all stories submitted by you. IP address tracking may be used to monitor such activities.
  4. Stories must be original, not the works of another author and 100-200 words.
  5. Love stories may be submitted from February 1 until February 21, 2010, at 11:59 pm.
  6. All stories must be submitted no later than 11:59 pm on February 21, 2010 in order to be in the contest.
  7. Stories that are deemed by us to be offensive, racist, sexist, or otherwise inappropriate will be removed. The originator of a story deemed inappropriate will not be compensated for their loss or time.
  8. By submitting your love story you agree to allow Hursts’ Berwyn Jewelers usage of your shared story, name and photograph within the Hursts’ Berwyn Jewelers website, advertisements, blogs, announcements and in any other promotional tool we deem professionally appropriate without further consent.
  9. Hursts’ Berwyn Jewelers may use your personal information to contact you on future occasions.
  10. Users must use the website only as it was originally intended through the user interface.
  11. By using our website, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for ensuring that you are not in violation any local or state laws.
  12. Voting will begin February 22, 2010 at 11:00 am and end on March 7, 2010 at 11:59pm. Any votes submitted before or after that time will not be accepted.
  13. Voters may only vote once per day. Additional votes will not be counted.
  14. Votes can only be contested where a winning story breaches either our terms and conditions or voting criteria. In all cases our judgment is final.

What we share

Submitted stories will be reviewed and ruled whether it has met the given guidelines and terms & conditions. Approved stories will then be posted on the Hursts’s Berwyn Jewelers website, www.hurstsberwynjewelers.com, for public viewing, sharing and voting. We will share your submitted story, first name, last name’s first initial, location and photograph (if any) along with your story. Hursts’ Berwyn Jewelers will not share personal information gathered during the duration of this contest, including your provided email address, home address and/or telephone number. Hursts’ Berwyn Jewelers claims no responsibility for stories copied from the Hursts’ Berwyn Jewelers website and used in other ways deemed unprofessional by third parties and/or visitors of our website.

Therefore, we are not responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide while visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. Winners & Prizes

No purchase necessary to enter contest. Purchase(s) will not increase your chance of winning. All qualified entrants will receive a $50.00 (fifty dollar) gift certificate to Hursts’ Berwyn Jewelers, limit one per entrant, and valid on new purchases of $100.00 or more. One grand prize winner, determined by the greatest number of votes, will receive an additional $500.00 (five hundred dollar) gift certificate to Hursts’ Berwyn Jewelers, valid on new purchases only. All of the terms and conditions must be met in order to receive and qualify for either prize. These gift certificates have no cash value and must be used within one year of the end of contest date. After February 28, of year 2011, all gift certificates will be null and void. A valid government issued identification card, such as a driver’s license or state issued identification card, is required to claim the grand prize gift certificate.
